seems that some in the scientific community are revamping their attitudes towards possible visitations by extraterrestials. Some good food for thought....

Posted by: Jack at January 15, 2005 03:59 PMThe Fermi Paradox is a real problem, but I'm one of those who feels that there just has to be other life in the cosmos. One explanation I've read is that the cost of going to some distant planet (even for the most technological advanced) is much more that the cost of simply terraforming nearby solar systems. On the other hand, the odds of UFOs being from other civilizations is right up there with the odds of there being an army of yetis, bigfoots, and lochness monsters working together to overthrow the U.S. and establish monster rule.
