What if that person espoused treason and anarchy against the United States? What if they yelled fire in a theater and I knew there wasn't a fire? What if they said that they slept with my wife and I didn't agree that they should? Maybe this gets into the "it depends," but I can come up with these easier than one in which I would agree to die. Once your dead, you can't be of any further help.
