It seems from the data that this poll was mostly of the Republican base, and it seems the base still likes Gov. Palin, despite the scorn the Party apparatchiks have heaped upon her for resigning her Governorship.
Which just goes to prove that the apparatchiks are out of touch with the base.

For myself, I think Gov. Palin made the correct decision and I look forward to the next three years with great anticipation to see just what course Sarah will take. In a way, I pity her opponents, they have a real, principled, mature adult to deal with for a change and it won't be pretty --- for them.
