All through the right wing blogosphere there is a very disturbing rumor that the Obama Administration has granted the People's Republic of China a huge concession to continue borrowing funds from the PRC; here is the rumor verbatim as it's being circulated:
"Beijing, China — Sources at the United States Embassy in Beijing China have just CONFIRMED to me that the United States of America has tendered to China a written agreement which grants to the People’s Republic of China, an option to exercise Eminent Domain within the USA, as collateral for China’s continued purchase of US Treasury Notes and existing US Currency reserves!"
"The written agreement was brought to Beijing by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and was formalized and agreed-to during her recent trip to China."
"This means that in the event the US Government defaults on its financial obligations to China, the Communist Government of China would be permitted to physically take — inside the USA — land, buildings, factories, perhaps even entire cities - to satisfy the financial obligations of the US government."
This has appeared on a number of right wing political sites and is accompanied by the attendant hysterical blather about black helicopters/FEMA concentration camps/OWO plots, etc, etc.
I don't believe that this rumor is true, for the simple reason that even Barry O wouldn't be THAT blatently stupid. If he wanted to trigger the second Civil War, that would be the surest, and quickest, way to do it.
EVEN the 52% Sheeple would revolt at that action.
Granting eminent domain authority to a foreign government is simply incomprehensibly stupid and blatently unconstitutional on the face of it.
The fear I DO have is that this SOUNDS like something Barry & CO. would propose; it makes me wonder if its part of a disinformation operation by the government for intel gathering purposes....and even that sounds like paranoia, even to me.
To paraphrase an old Chinese curse; we do, indeed, live in interesting times.
Incredible site!

Posted by: Jerlene Peckens at January 18, 2012 12:24 AMThanks for the suggestions about credit repair on all of this web-site. The thing I would advice people will be to give up this mentality they can buy at this point and pay back later. As being a society we tend to make this happen for many factors. This includes vacation trips, furniture, and also items we wish. However, you need to separate a person's wants from all the needs. While you're working to boost your credit score you really have to make some sacrifices. For example it is possible to shop online to economize or you can turn to second hand merchants instead of costly department stores regarding clothing.
