It's time again for "Rules to help you make it through the Holiday
Season".
Enjoy!
1. Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet
table knows nothing of the Christmas spirit. In fact, if you see
carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they're serving rum
balls.
2. Drink as much eggnog as you can. And quickly. Like fine single-malt
scotch, it's rare. In fact, it's even rarer than single-malt scotch. You
can't find it any other time of year but now. So drink up! Who cares
that it has 10,000 calories in every sip? It's not as if you're going to
turn into an eggnog-aholic or something. It's a treat. Enjoy it. Have
one for me. Have two. It's later than you think. It's Christmas!
3. If something comes with gravy, use it. That's the whole point of
gravy. Gravy does not stand alone. Pour it on. Make a volcano out of
your mashed potatoes. Fill it with gravy. Eat the volcano. Repeat.
4. As for mashed potatoes, always ask if they're made with skim milk or
whole milk. If it's skim, pass. Why bother? It's like buying a sports
car with an automatic transmission.
5. Do not have a snack before going to a party in an effort to control
your eating. The whole point of going to a Christmas party is to eat
other people's food for free. Lots of it. Hello?
6. Under no circumstances should you exercise between now and New
Year's. You can do that in January when you have nothing else to do.
This is the time for long naps, which you'll need after circling the
buffet table while carrying a 10-pound plate of food and that vat of
eggnog.
7. If you come across something really good at a buffet table, like
frosted Christmas cookies in the shape and size of Santa, position
yourself near them and don't budge. Have as many as you can before
becoming the center of attention. They're like a beautiful pair of
shoes. If you leave them behind, you're never going to see them again.
8. Same for pies. Apple. Pumpkin. Mincemeat. Have a slice of each. Or,
if you don't like mincemeat, have two apples and one pumpkin. Always
have three. When else do you get to have more than one dessert? Labor
Day?
9. Did someone mention fruitcake? Granted, it's loaded with the
mandatory celebratory calories, but avoid it at all cost. I mean, have
some standards.
10. One final tip: If you don't feel terrible when you leave the party
or get up from the table, you haven't been paying attention. Reread
tips; start over, but hurry, January is just around the corner.
Remember this motto to live by:
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly
used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride"!
hehehehehe I like hehehehehe

Posted by: wow gold guide 4.3 at September 20, 2011 02:04 PMThe new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

Posted by: watch i am number four online at September 25, 2011 01:54 PMI'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
Posted by: watch inception online at September 25, 2011 02:54 PMThis is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Posted by: what is a vibrator at November 4, 2011 07:14 AMWe have all seen them. The huge guys at the gym, lifting huge stacks of plates and grunting and also sweating like their head is about to explode. Their arms are busting out of their shirts and their legs look like they belong to the horse-a muscular horse. Who wants to look like that? This is one of the main reasons that some people, although they want to lost weight and look great, refuse to strength train. They are scared that obtaining the heavy iron will turn them into hulking behemoths which can't put their arms down by their part. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Lifting weights will never turn you into the bodybuilder overnight. Getting the kind of muscle you see on those big boys in the gym takes years (10-15) associated with work, incredibly long workouts, and sometimes, a little -help- from the not so natural source-if you get my drift. For most of us, adding weight training into our exercise program will do exactly what we want it to. Weight training will help you to lose weight, get in shape, and look better at the seaside. You see, for each and every ounce of muscle a person build, your body will speed up its own internal fat reduction process. The more muscle mass Ab Machines you build, the more fat you had been burn. Now, muscle DOES weigh a lot more than fat, but don't let that scare you. I mean, what do you really worry about, how much you weight, or what you seem like with your shirt off? That is the actual test if improving your physique is at the top of your priority list. The majority of us just want to watch the scales and find out the pounds come pouring off, but when you are regularly training with weights, this oftentimes does certainly not happen. As you are reducing weight, you are building muscle mass, so your weight may stay the same, but your body may look drastically different. Your own clothes will fit better, the people at the office will start to look at your differently and when beach time comes, you may be the first to rip off your shirt!
Therefore, how do you start a good weight training course? The last thing you want to do is hit the gym and start blasting out arm curls with simply no idea of what you do. Weight training is serious business and can be extremely dangerous. One wrong move and you could wind up lying during sex for 6 months watching your body slip into worse shape than before you decide to started. A solid general guideline when beginning to work with weights is to partner up with someone who knows the actual are doing. This could be a friend who has plenty of experience or better however, a personal trainer. A qualified personal instructor can walk you through a step-by-step process of building a highly effective weight training program that will help you to reach your objectives while avoiding injury as you go along.
So the next time you consider lifting weights, you might not conjure a vision of a well oiled massive figure posing in tiny trunks; you may see yourself, ripped, in shape, and looking fantastic thanks to your weight training system.
